摘要
对无源有机发光二极管器件(OLEDs)的众多问题,诸如交叉串扰、等效电路和电压降进行了定量分析;建立了计算无源OLEDs功耗的数学模型。与单屏驱动的OLEDs比较,采用双屏驱动可显著减小器件的功耗,主要原因是工作占空比提高了2倍。制作了2个绿色小分子OLEDs,二者的尺寸(64mm)和分辨率(128×64pixels)相同,但一个为单屏驱动,一个为双屏驱动。实验结果表明,当二者工作亮度均为100cd/m2时,采用双屏驱动的OLEDs的功耗比单屏驱动的降低了25%。
Crosstalk, equivalent circuit, voltage drop and power consumption of passive matrix organic light-emitting diodes (OLEDs) were quantitatively analyzed, and a mathematical model to calculate the power of passive matrix OLEDs was built. The model demonstrate that the power of dual-scan OLEDs can be significantly reduced compared with that of single-scan OLEDs, because the scanning duty increase 100%. Two 64 mm, 128 × 64 pixels green small molecule OLEDs has been fabricated. One adopts single-scan method, and the other adopts dual-scan method. Compared with single-panel OLEDs, the power consumption of dual-panel OLEDs show a reduction of 25%, when both were operated at the average luminance of 100 cd/m2.
