The selection of scientific research project is a complex problm in the research work. In this article, how to select suitable research project is discussed in two aspects: Principle and Skill of selection. On the princi- ple, scientificalness, necessity, creativity and practicability are elucidated. Though these four factors are dif- ferential, they are closely connective. On the skill, the relations between project selection and imagination, opportunity, implantation are discussed.
