A novel short message system in the intelligent community based on the video-overlapping technology, using TV as the receiving terminal,is proposed in this paper.The network scheme of the system is presented, and the principle of the video-overlapping technology is discussed in detail in the paper,as well as the hardware and software design of the system which employs MCU (microcontroller) and OSDC (On-Screen Display Controller) MB90092.
