论情报工作的时空观

ON THE CONCEPTS OF TIME AND SPACE IN INFORMATION WORK

本文从情报工作的本质特征传递着眼,分析研究了情报工作的各个环节,认为情报工作乃是人类有目的地将信息进行空间转换、时间转换和时空互换的活动。所谓空间转换和时间转换,包括信息在空间、时间上位置的移动;信息所占空间、时间的数量变化;以及经过情报工作人员的劳动,将信息所占有的空间转化为时间或将时间转化为空间。此外,还包括情报工作人员和用户之间的时间、空间互换。

Various stages in information work are analytically studied in view of message transmission which is the nature of the work.it is believed that the information work is an activity performed purposedly by human being to transfer messages in space,time and transformation between space and time, including the shire of message position in the space and time,numerical variation of spsce and time occupied by the messages,and the transformation of the occupied space into tithe or vice versa by the messages through the efforts of informationists,Furthermore,it also includes transformation of space and time of the informationists.
