素质教育是我国教育领域的一场革命。英语教育作为人才素质培养的一个重要环节,越来越引起人们的重视。英语教师的素质高低直接影响学生的素质发展,教师素质的提高是推进素质教育的基础。在飞速发展的21世纪,英语教师应具备较高的素质,才能应对日益剧烈的竞争和挑战。
Quality education is a revolution in the field of education in our country. Being an important link of talent-developing, English education has become more and more concerned. English teachers' qualities have had direct effect on the development of students' . The improvement of teachers' qualities is the basis of promoting quality education. English teachers have to have high qualities in the rapid development of 21 century so that they can respond to the more and more serious competition and challenges.
