邵培仁教授是我国传播学研究的代表性人物,是最早进行传播学研究的学者之一。《传播学原理与应用》奠定了其传播学研究的基点,《当代传播学丛书》开拓了其研究领域,《传播学导论》则是其传播理论精华的集成。近年他又努力开辟媒介管理学研究的疆域,获得了学界认可,《媒介管理学》、《媒介战略管理》是这方面的代表作。他以14部著作和近百篇论文为我国创立了独树一帜的传播学研究体系,摒弃了长期困扰中国学者的"西方中心主义",是当代传播学研究的典范。邵培仁在传播学、媒介管理学等方面取得的成就,使其在我国当代传播学史上具有重要的地位。

Professor Shao Peiren is the representative of china's communication research and one of the scholars who research communication earliest. The Theory and Application of Communication has settled the basic point of his communication study. The Series of Modem Communication has exploited his research field. The Guiding of Communication has become the accumulation of the essence of his communication theory. In recent years, professor Shao has also made great effort to open the new field of media management research and received the authorization from the academy. Media Management, Media Strategic Management are the magnum opuses in this field, By fourteen works and about hundreds of theses, professor Shao has established an u-nique communication research system, ended the western centralism which has bothered Chinese researchers for a long time and become the model of modern communication research. The achievement received by Shao Peiren in the field of communication and media management has unique and irreplaceable position in the history of chinas modern communication
