大学英语精读课中文化教学的个案研究

摘要 语言和文化密不可分,教语言必须同时教文化已成为外语教育界的共识。在目前还没有一套完全按文化项目编写的教材的情况下,本文结合教学实践,从阅读的角度,选取了交际习俗和礼仪规范、语言交际、时间观念等几个视角分析《新编大学英语》(精读)课本中存在的文化差异,并进行个案分析。 Culture is a complicated and difficult-to-define concept and it may cover all aspects of human activities. Linguists and foreign language teachers have already realized that language teaching cannot be separated from culture teaching. This paper, in terms of communication customs, manners, verbal communication and time concept, discusses some cases of cultural differences in New college English in order to illustrate how to combine language teaching with culture teaching, especially in reading comprehension.
