试析汉语思维模式对英语写作的制约

English Composition Affected by Chinese Thought Pattern and Suggestions for Its Improvement

英汉语言的思维模式存在着明显的差异 ,直线型的英语思维重理性 ,表达直接 ;圆周型的汉语思维重感悟 ,表达迂回。本文通过对比英汉思维在写作中的差异 ,分析汉语圆周型思维对中国学生英语写作的影响 ,提出改进英语写作的对策。

Research shows that there are differences between English and Chinese thought patterns. English, which emphasizes logic and rationality, possesses a liner way of thought pattern, while Chinese, which is more intuitive, has a circular way of thought pattern. This article, through a contrastive study of the different thought patterns in writing, analyses the effects of the Chinese thought pattern on the English composition by Chinese students and puts forward some suggestions for the improvement.
