美国综合国力超强,它将在相当长时期内继续保持其"一超"地位.随着世界多极化的不断发展,各大国与美国的力量对比将逐渐趋向相对均衡化,加上美国为维护其霸权地位而不断消耗它的资源和实力,美国不可能永远保持其一超地位.

In addition, as the U.S. consumes its resources and strength unceasingly in order to preserve its hegemonistic position, it will be unable to retain its sole-superpower status forever.
