To ensure the achievement of American national energy strategic goal, USA constantly implements the strategy of diversifying oil import sources to the maximum limit, increases domestic strategic petroleum reserve and uses military forces to ensure safe and steady transportation of crude oil imports so as to ensure the reliability and safety of oil supply. There are both competition to some extent and great potential of cooperation between China and USA in energy field.
