民族私立大学作为我国近代高等教育的重要组成部分,一定程度上弥补了民国时期国立高等教育的不足。在艰苦的办学实践中,许多著名民族私立大学在办学信念、师资选拔、管理体制、培养目标和经费筹措等方面都形成了自己的特色,对当前我国私立高校的办学实践有所借鉴和启示。

As one important part of higher education of our country's higher education in recent times, national private universities, to some degree, made up for the shortage of higher education in the period of the Republic of China. In the course of arduous long-term practice, many famous national private universities formed their own features in such respects as school-running faith, selection of teachers, administration system, training purpose and raising fund. These provide our country's private universities with practical experiences and enlightenment in school-running respect.
