摘要
对MPEG-4中各种分层结构进行了深入的剖析,包括媒体对象语义的分层表达,媒体对象的分层编码,MPEG-4码流的分层组织及最终的多媒体集成传送框架的分层实现等。最后给出了MPEG-4的总体结构及分层技术的作用,并讨论了分层结构的思想方法、评价标准及不足等。
This paper investigates all kinds of hierarchical layer structures including media object's semantic expression with hierarchical layer structure, scalable coding, MPEG-4's hierarchical bitstreams organization and delivery multimedia integration framework. At last, it sum up the whole structure of MPEG-4 and the role, spirit, evaluation criterion and drawback of the hierarchical layers method in MPEG-4.
