北京城市发展具有明显的阶段性特征,这是由不同的发展战略取向造成的。虽然目前对北京市的发展战略还存在一些争论,但发展"首都经济"的思路已经明确。发展"首都经济"与北京政治中心、文化中心的定位并不矛盾,而是相互促进的。北京经济的发展不仅是解决自身问题的需要,而且对区域经济将产生重大影响。

Beijing's city development is characterized by obvious stages,resulted from different developmental strategies.Although the appropriate developmental strategy for Beijing is still being debated,the strategy of developing a 'capital economy' is clear at present.Developing a 'capital economy' does not conflict with the status of Beijing as a political and cultural center,and they enhance each other.The development of Beijing's economy not only is conducive to solving its own problems,but also exerts a great influence on the regional economy.
