竞走运动是田径诸多项目中具有特殊要求的一种运动。它的独特之处在于对走的技术结构有严格的限定 ,在中国 ,竞走一直是重点的攻关项目。然而以往对其研究只局限于综述性、训练体会、技术分析等方面 ,对其发展态势的研究太少。本文试从世界锦标赛入手对其在奥林匹克中的发展 ,以及中国竞走运动的发展做进一步的探讨 ,阐明 :竞走运动的特殊性 ;由于其特殊性所产生的效应分析 ;中国竞走技术的独特性及合理性 ;中国竞走短距离项目的可塑性等并提出建议性的观点 ,以期中国竞走实现奥运攻关的成功。
