THE HIGH TEMPERATURE FEATURE AND MULLITIZATION BEHAVIOR OF ANDALUSITE FROM XIXIA HENAN PROVINCE

摘要 本文介绍河南西峡红柱石晶体、工业精矿及其制品的高温性状和莫来石化特征的工艺岩石学研究结果,并对西峡红柱石的工业应用提出建议。红柱石的结晶方向和煅烧温度控制其分解程度,而莫来石的形态取决于空间分布位置。西峡红柱石高温分解始于1300℃,1350—1400℃反应加速,添加剂将使分解温度降低50—100℃。因解理与裂理发育,西峡红柱石不适于用做粗颗粒骨料,但以细粉形式加入制品,则有良好效果。 The feature of high temperature and mullitization behavior about raw crystal from Xixia,Henan Province,are described in present paper. An advice to industrial application of the andalusite has also been brought up. It suggests that the crystal direction and burning temperature control resolvable degree of andalusite. The shape of mullite is determined by its location. Andalusite from Xixia begins to resolve at 1300℃and reacts strongly at 1300℃—1400Κ℃ and resolving temperature would be dropped 50℃—100℃ by adding filler. Because of existence of cleavage and crack the andalusite isn't fit to be used as aggregates of large size, but it has a wonderful result when it is added into products as fine power.
