Science and art are the two interweaving and competing forces in the development of human civilization. Chinese landscape is a typical comprehensive discipline combining science and art. In this field, they cooperate harmoniously and act like two wings of a bird. On one hand, landscaping artists need scientific research spirit and methods; on the other hand, the technical skills should not be predominant over the artistic expression.
