贵州茂兰鹬虻科一新种(双翅目:短角亚目)

A NEW SPECIES OF RHAGIONIDAE (DIPTERA: BRACHYCERA) FROM MAOLAN, GUIZHOU

双翅目短角亚目(Brachycera)的鹬虻科(Rhagionidae)多为中小型昆虫。足细长,翅常具斑纹,腹部较长;生活在水域附近,喜在阴湿的环境、甚至小雨中活动。成虫和幼虫多为捕食性,有些种类在国际上已用作生物防治。鹬虻科世界已知约600种,我国过去只有外国学者记载过10种,其中9种在台湾,另1种为记载于东北的日本种。近年来,我们开展此科分类研究,已陆续报道了浙江、湖北、广西、云南、西藏。

The family Rhagionidae was little known to Guizhou Province. A new species collected from the Maolan Karst Forest Preserve is described in this paper. The type specimens are kept in the Insect collection of Beijing Agricultural University.Rhagio maolanus Yang et Yang, sp. nov. (figs. 1, 2)Holotype , paratypes 2 , Guizhou Province: Libo County, Banzhai Maolan (108.01E,25.14N), 12-13- V - 1990, collected by Yang Chi-kun and Liu Zhiqi.Body length 9-11 mm, wing of length 10-11 mm. Similar to Rhagio guangxiensis Yang et Yang, but thorax yellow laterally without any morkings. Wings hyaline with front marginal field yellow. The male terminalia, as shown in the text-figures, also different from the latter species.
