中国的港口建设在近几年可谓风起云涌。到去年底,中国沿海主要港口的总设计能力已达到13亿吨。然而,港口的建设仍在提速,预计2005年将达到20亿吨,2010年还要进一步达到30亿吨,每年增长10%左右。在港口建设大潮中,上海港因其独到的优势被推到建设成为“国际航运中心”的风口浪尖上。但我国北方地区的三大港口——天津、大连和青岛,也在紧锣密鼓地建设,而且都打出建设“北方航运中心”的招牌。拿近年的业绩来看,三个港口都突破了1亿吨大关。但小小的一个渤海湾,能否容得下雄心万丈的“三大诸侯”?大干快上是否能将今天的蓝图变成明天的辉煌?
In port constructions, Shanghai due to its unique natural conditions has been designated to become an ' international shipping center'. But the three large ports including Tianjin, Dalian and Qingdao in north China are stepping up their efforts to develop, with the aim to build the 'Northern Ship-ping Center'. Reviewing their performance in recent years, the three ports have all broken the record of 0.1 billion tons in throughput. However, is the Bohai Bay big enough to embrace the ambitious 'Three Kingdoms'? Will the rigorous construction and rapid development turn their dream into reality in the future ?
