摘要
本文研究了氯化镁水溶液淬火介质的冷却性能,并与水和油作了对比,给出了介质的基本理化性能、冷却曲线和冷速特性曲线,并讨论了介质的浓度、温度和搅拌的影响,同时还对介质的实际淬火效果(对钢件的淬透能力及变形开裂倾向等)进行了检验,试验结果表明,氯化镁淬火介质具有理想的冷却特性,对钢件具有较好的淬火效果,其作为一种新的无机盐淬火介质具有实用价值。
The characteristics of MgCl_2 quenchant is studied, compared with water and oil. Common chemical and physical properties and cooling behavior of the medium are measured and the effect of concentration, temperature and agitation on cooling process are discussed. The hardening response(hardenability and the susceptibility of distortion and cracking) of steel components in quenchants is also examined. The results of test show that the colling characteristics of MgCl_2 quenchant is satisfactory, and there is a better hardining response to steel. As a new sort of inorganic salt quenchant, it is valuable practically.
