Academic Freedom and Choice of Higher Education Value

学术自由是高等教育发展的重要基础 ,不同的人有不同的学术自由观 ,不同的学术自由观在某种程度上导致高等教育办学实践中价值取向的矛盾冲突 ,如自由教育与职业教育 ,纯学术研究与应用研究 ,科学精神与人文精神 ,“象牙塔”与社会大学之间的矛盾冲突等等。深入分析这些冲突产生的根源和实质 ,可以促进高等教育的持续、稳定。

Academic freedom is very important to the development of higher education.Different people have different opinions about academic freedom which has caused value conflict in the practice of higher education at a certain degree,such as the conflict between liberal education and professional education,pure scholarship research and application study,science spirit and humanities spirit,“ivory tower” and social university etc.In this paper these conflicts are discussed to run well higher education.
