The Story of Chopsticks

世界上每天有十多亿人一日三餐筷不离手,正因为餐餐用筷、日日用筷、年年用筷、人人用筷,所以反而对筷箸习以为常,视若无睹。其实,我们的祖先以箸进餐大约有三千多年的历史,或许远不止这三千年。

Every day one billion people use chopsticks to eat breakfast lunch and dinner. Because people use them meal by meal, day by day, year by year, chopsticks have become an ordinary and overlooked part of life. We have been using chopsticks for about 3,000 years-perhaps even longer than that.
