摘要 In 2001, the new English Language Syllabus was introduced to all national schools in Singapore. One new feature in this Syllabus was the teaching of different text-types. Previously, schools taught units based on themes. However, with the new syllabus, teachers need to structure their lessons according to the different text-types and further break it up into text forms.
