略论吴汝纶对西方近代农业科技的态度

A Brief Discussion about Wu Ru-lun's Attitude towards Western Science and Technology of Modern Agriculture

吴汝纶是晚清时期一位著名学者、桐城派代表人物、杰出的教育家。他一生积极探求西学,介绍西学,被时人誉为“东方第一人”。在探讨西学的过程中,他关注西方近代农业科技的发展,倡导引进西方近代农业科技,主张兴办近代农业教育,堪称中国近代农业科技史上的开风气之先的人物。本文就吴氏对西方近代农业科技的态度进行了简略的评述。

Wu Ru-lun is a well-known scholar,a representative of Tongcheng School and an outstanding educator during late Qing Dynasty.All his life he is in the active pursuit of foreign studies and introduce them.The author of this paper gives a brief discussion about Wu Ru-lun's attitude towards Western science and technology of modern agriculture.
