<abstract> recent years, the lead-acid battery technique has been developed rapidly with science and technology progress. In order to improve the warship vitality, we set up higher requirement of lead-acid battery's functions such as capacity, life span, shock resistance, vibration resistance, oscillating resistance etc. The valve-control maintenance-free lead-acid battery can fulfill our requirement by its excellent characteristics. Now this type of storage battery has been practically used in warships.
