本文按照王安忆的创作心态，以1984年为界，把她的创作分成两个阶段：即1984年以前为第一阶段，1984年以后为第二阶段。第一阶段王安忆的作品对美的发掘占主导地位，在创作道路上不断地超越自己。第二阶段王安忆的作品转向对非美、对丑的揭示，在“性”的文学创作上脱离生活，这个阶段王安忆的创作是迷失了自己。

We can judge from Wang Anyi's psychological state and divide her literary creation into two phases. Those written before 1984 fall into the first phase. And those written after 1984 belong to the second phase. In the first phase, Wang involved herself in creating beauty. This is the phase in which Wang improved constantly. In the second phase she turned to expose evilness and ugliness. In 'literature of sex' she lamentably turned away from real life. So in the second phase Wang got herself lost.
