简说张岱年天人合一观

Zhang Dainian' s Idea of Syncretism of Heaven and Man

张岱年先生并不是笼统论述"天人合一观念"和"天人有分观念",而是认为这两种观念"交参互含",有区别地赞成和发展,特别强调对中国传统哲学中的"天人合一观念"要进行实事求是地分析,要注意批判继承,正确理解天人关系。张岱年先生站在张载、二程"天人合一思想"的基础上,更好地解决了天道人道关系难题且重新肯定了天人合一观念,发现了一条宽广的中国文化综合创新道路。

Mr. Zhang Dainian doesn' t analyze in general the 'idea of syncretism of Heaven and Man' and 'idea of differentiation between Heaven and Man', but thinks these two ideas 'inter-refer' and 'in ter-contain'. He is for and develops them by selectivity, especially emphasizes the practical and real istic analysis of the idea of syncretism of Heaven and Man in the traditional Chinese philosophy, and put stress on paying attention to critically carrying forward and to correctly understanding the rela tionship between Heaven and Man. On the basis of the idea of syncretism of Heaven and Man what Tchang Tsai, Tch' eng Hao, Tch' eng Yi, etc. had acquired, Mr. Zhang Dainian has better resolved the difficult problem of the relations between Tao of God and Tao of Man, and has reaffirmed this i dea and discovered a new wide road of synthesis and creativity of the Chinese culture.
