摘要
1910 年湖南发生的反洋教活动中,木、泥匠和会党势力是反教主角;士绅表面上不再反教,却暗中支持普通民众的反教斗争;湖南官吏是护教和镇压反教的主力。这说明近代湖南尚未完全接受西方先进的思想和文化,完成由古代社会向近代社会的转型。
In fighting against Christian in 1910, Hunan’s bricklayers ,carpenters and meeting-party were leading role,the gentry not fighting against Christian any longer in appearance,but supporting the mass secretly,the official being main power to protect Christian and to suppress the fighting .It showed that modern Hunan had not been accepted advanced thoughts and cultures from the west and completed changeable type from ancient to modern.
