薛福成“工商立国”思想述论

薛福成在对西学的探求过程中形成了一整套“工商立国”的思想:为破除人们对商人谋利的偏见,提出了“人之笃与私计者,情也”的主张;为倡言重商,首次提出“握四民之纲者,商也”的命题;他主张以机器殖财养民,振百工,设专利,设立公司,发展资本主义工商业。这为后来的进步思想家们提供了丰富的思想养料。

Xue Fu-cheng is regarded as a modern and famous thinker.
