摘要
在州财政紧张的情况下,美国的公立高校也努力调动市场机制,改善学校的被动局面,扩大发展。他们从科研服务、提高学费、改变课程、开拓国际市场等方面加快市场化的步伐。其市场化运作实践所引发的对一些问题的争议,同样值得我们借鉴思考。
American Public Universities and Colleges are transformed by market force as public fund is less than ever, so they've improved outreach, increased tuition, changed subjects and increased international education or so. But the transforming of marketing results in some problems which need to be studied in Chinese higher education institution.
