从文化的维度出发,站在从下往上,从内向外看的视点上,审视西部文化,不难发现在其浓郁的前现代文化景观中所蕴含的深厚的后现代主义的文化情怀。在信息革命浪潮方兴未艾,后现代化新波紧随现代化浪潮扑面而来的21世纪,重新观照西部文化,便会发现其前现代化的文化基核与后现代化文化神韵的某种对接和呼应的势态,文化建构的前提是对我们脚下土地所生成的文化的自省和自觉,只有站在未来信息化社会的立场上扬弃我们既有的文化,我们才能从简单的否定、肯定的误区中走出来,从而整合出符合西部大开发新要求的全新的文化。

From the angle of culture, reviewing the western culture from past to present and from home to abroad, we find out that the implication of the complex postmodernism derives from dense pre-modernism culture. In the dawn of informational revolution and postmodernism, reviewing the western culture, we can see the tendency that the core of post-modernism culture corresponds with that of pre-modernism culture. The premise of cultural construction is to be conscious of the existing culture. Only by developing the useful and discarding the useless in our culture can we make a totally new culture suitable for the development of western regions.
