On the Communication of Nationalities and Religions in the Middle East——The Afterward of the Book The General History of the Middle Eastern Countries-Cyprus

站在人类文明交往论角度,具体论述了中东民族与宗教交往问题,企图从时间、空间、人际相处这三个文明交往的基本条件上,分析了塞浦路斯的希腊族和土耳其族缺乏塞浦路斯国家观念,并指出希腊族更多的是欧洲属性,而土耳其族更多的是土耳其属性,正是这些因素,使两种文明难以融合起来,这些是成为当今塞浦路斯民族和宗教冲突的深层因素。

The paper discuses the issues of the communication of nationalities and religions in the Middle East from the angle of the theory of the communication of human civilization. The paper points out that the Greek and Turkish races lack the sense of nation in the light of the basic conditions of snch three civilization communications as time, space and human coexistence. The paper also points out that the Greek race mostly belongs to the scope of Europe, while Turkish race mostly to Turky. It is these factors that make it more difficult for these two civilizations merge with each other. These factors become the inner causes of the conflict between the races and religions in modern Cyprus.
