摘要
筛选标记基因因其在植物基因工程中的重要作用而得到了普遍应用,目前使用的筛选标记主要是抗生素抗性基因或抗除草剂基因,然而一旦获得转基因植株,它的存在不但没有必要,而且还引起人们的种种顾虑。因此如何从转基因植物中删除筛选标记基因成为植物基因工程研究的重要内容。目前已有多个系统用来删除选择标记基因,从而获得无筛选标记基因的转基因植株。其中共转化法操作简便因而得到了广泛的应用。本文综述了共转化法研究的最新进展并对其实际应用的可行性进行探讨。
Selectable marker genes, which were widely used for the efficient transformation of plants, are no longer required in mature plants especially when they are grown in field. In most cases, selection is based on antibiotic or herbicide resistance. Due mainly to public concerns, a number of systems have been developed for the removal of selection makers in order to generate marker free transgenic plants. The co-transformation systems appear to be the simplest among them and have been widely used in direct transformation methods. We summarize here the most recent development of co-transformation and discuss their feasibility for practical application.
