关于“文章学”与“文学批评”的思考

On "Articlology" and "Literary Criticism"

从文献学、古代文学理论方面考察,现代"文学批评"与古代"文章学"歧异分明。郭绍虞等囿于所处时代环境,以"文章"非"文学"的先行观念为主导,试图在"文章"中清理出一种纯粹的"文学"概念,实则是不能完全成立的。实事求是地还"文章学"、"文学批评"以本来面目,是中国现代学术重建的首要工作。

According to the observation of philology and the ancient literary theories, the author finds out that the modern 'literary criticism' differs greatly from the ancient 'articlology'. Guo Shao-yu, restrained by the time he lived, took a supposed-to-be idea of rendering 'article' into 'non-literature' in the hope of clearing out some pure 'literature' from 'articles', which finds no foundations. It is the primary work of the re-construction of the modern Chinese academic world to give a faithful recognition of 'articlology' and 'literary criticism'.
