Early Management of Serious Thoracic Injuries Complicated by Multiple Trauma: An Analysis of 300 Cases

本文报告300例严重胸外伤并多发伤早期处理的经验体会。除胸外伤外,合并颅脑伤93例,腹内脏器伤66例,脊椎骨盆肢体骨折194例。泌尿系统伤21例。死亡48例(16.0%)。着重讨论多发伤的定义,早期诊断、处理及死亡原因。

Three hundred eases of serious thoracic injuries complicated by multiple trauma were presented. Coexisting cranioeerebral injuries were found in 93 cases, abdominal injuries in 66 cases, bone fractures in 194 and urological injuries in 21. The overall mortality was 16.0%. Traffic accident was the commonest cause of trauma. Early resuscitation is imperative and should be taken as soon as possible. Clear airway and adequate pulmonary ventilation must be ensurd, Priority should be given to those who had cranial, chest, abdominal veseera, or large vessel injuries. The main causes of death in this group were shock, craniocerebral injuries, pulmonary complications and renal failure.
