摘要
木材为林业生产最为重要的终级产品,增加木材数量和提高木材质量,是林业良种选育和种源选择的重要目标。然而,当前多数林业改良计划,在很大程度上,侧重于林木的生长速度,干形和抗病虫害特征的选择,而在一定的意义上,忽视了林木材质的改良和选择。研究事实证明,多数树种的木材性质的性状因子,具有较强的遗传性。
Testing material of poplars: Populus deltoides Bartr. cl. 'Zhong-lin 28', cl. 'Zhonglin 46',cl. 'Zhonglin 115' and P. canadensis 'I-214', P. x euramericana 'Cima', and P. x euramericana 'Avanzo' were collected from the poplar provenance conservation plantations in the Baoding Prefecture Forest Research Institute, Hebei Province. Their wood anatomy, chemicl composition, physical and mechanical properties were studied. The results showed the differences of the wood properties of the 6 poplar clones, which can be used as scientific foundations for selection of fine clones and wood utilization of new poplar clones.
