摘要
翻译时具备原文所涉及的背景知识有两大好处 :一是可以加深对原文的理解 ;二是由于理解深刻透彻 ,翻译时就可以摆脱原文语言的束缚 ,灵活自如地以译入语表达原意。本文通过分析“What's L ife”的译文并重译 。
This paper attempts to prove that background information about an original text serves two purposes: first you can better undcrstand the original text; second, you'll be able to escape from the bondage of the original language and express the original meaning idiomatically in the target language. [
