俄国塔尔图—莫斯科符号学派对世界人文科学 ,尤其是文化学的研究做出了突出而独特的贡献 ,洛特曼是其代表人物。在今天“文化热”的背景下 ,十分有必要把我们知之甚少而在西方颇受重视的洛特曼的文化符号学思想加以梳理和概括 ,并把它介绍给我国的研究者。

The Tartu-Moscow Semiotic School, of which Lotman is a representative, has made great and unique contributions to the world humanities, especially in the field of cultural studies, at a time that shows a keen interest in culture. It is necessary to summarize and introduce to the Chinese scholars the thoughts of Lotman's Semiotics of Culture, which has a strong influence in the Western academic circles.
