曹禺、奥尼尔与古希腊悲剧——《悲悼》和《雷雨》的比较分析

美国戏剧家奥尼尔的创作对我国著名剧作家曹禺产生过很大影响 ,而两位剧作家都对古希腊悲剧情有独钟。古希腊悲剧熏陶、启发并同时在一定程度上也沟通了他们的创作。以往在进行影响研究时 ,研究者往往只就二者进行单向比较 ,未能全面揭示两位戏剧大师创作中的共性与个性。如果引入古希腊悲剧这一参照对曹禺、奥尼尔的创作进行比较研究 ,则可以从一个新的角度把握两人的创作。

American playwright Eugene O'Neill had exerted great influence on Chinese dramatist Cao Yu. But on the other hand, both of them had been affected and even linked up by the ancient Greek tragedies. Their similarities and disparities are revealed by offering a comparative study of Cao Yu and O'Neill with the Greek tragedies as reference.
