摘要
关于惯用语的生成与理解 ,认知语言学提出了与传统语言学理论完全不同的观点。认知语言学不再把惯用语视为结构和意义上都是任意的 ,不可解释的 ,而视为是可分解的、可解释的。本文从认知语言学理论出发 ,考察了惯用语的生成与理解机制 ,分析了惯用语理解时的认知策略 ,介绍了模型语义理论中惯用语义的处理与转换过程 。
Contrary to traditional linguistic theory which holds that idioms are arbitrary in composition and meaning,cognitive linguistics claims that idioms are decomposional and interpretable both in their composition and meaning.Starting from this view,the paper examines their mechanisms of composition and interpretation as well as the strategies for their processing and interpretation procedures psychologically and cognitively,introduces the cognitive transformations in the formation of idiom meaning in modeling semantics,and as a conclusion comments on the inadequacies of cognitive linguistics in the interpretation of idioms.
