网络环境下的英语教育

Toward web-based English education

网络技术应用于英语教学 ,使计算机辅助英语教学进入了一个新的发展阶段。网络环境下的英语教育兼顾“学”与“教”的需要 ,在强调学生主体性的同时 ,充分发挥教师的主导作用。网络教学与传统教学方式可以相互补充、相互促进。本文以“英语阅读”课件为例 ,对“网络教育”的概念进行讨论 ,同时 ,还分析了阻碍英语网络教学发展的制约因素 ,并提出解决问题的对策。

The advent of Internet Technology (IT) has brought multiple advantages to English language education:it compensates for the shortage of teachers,grants a good linguistic context for learners,and offers a resourceful capacity for teaching and learning. In the web environment,computer aided English Instruction (a CALL) ought to enjoy a double function both in instruction and learning.While students initiatives are to be emphasized,teachers' instructive function should be also strengthened.In this respect,the colossal possibilities initiated by the fully utilized IT can show their special functions in the instruction process of supervision,examination and control.While providing the common efforts and accomplishments,wed based instruction will turn out to be a new field in the English language education.
