摘要
英、汉"反复"辞格的分类差异极大.汉语"反复"分为"连续反复"和"间隔反复",而英语"Repetition"却按其各种变异形式细分为十几类,其中不少在汉语里有对应修辞现象,但并不归入"反复"格;有些"反复"形式则是英、汉语各自所特有的.这种分类上的差异不仅反映了英、汉语不同的辞格体系,同时也反映了两种语言迥然相异的形态和结构特征.
There exist great differences in the classification of the figure of speech, 'Repetition', in English and Chinese. The 'repetition' in Chinese is classified into 'continuous repetition' and 'discontinuous repetition' while the 'repetition' in English, into more than ten subclasses according to its varieties, among which lots may find their correspondents in Chinese, yet they are not included under 'repetition' therein. And some forms of 'repetition' are specific both in English or Chinese. These differences in classification reflect the differences in morphology and syntax of English and Chinese, as well as the different figure systems thereof.
