元杂剧中出现了众多的母亲形象 ,她们身上体现出阴柔之美与刚健之美的和谐结合 ,在审美价值上超越了以往同类形象 ,成为中国古代文学人物形象体系中具有特殊意义的一个群体。同时 ,作者认为这一形象群体的出现与元代的社会思想风气。

Many figures of mother appear in the drama of Yuan Dynasty. These figures embody the beauty of the harmonious combination of gentleness and firmness so that they surpass those figures of mother in previous literature in aesthetic value. As a result, they become a special group in the figure system of Chinese classical literature. At the same time, the author thinks the society thoughts and the main body factors of dramatists in the Yuan Dynasty relate to the appearance of these figures of mother.
