The basic rule and foundation for selecting technical requirement of product standard is briefly described. The performance specification of standard of cryogenic products is also discussed on the basis of following factors, such as, operational performance, physicochemical characteristic, stability, health, safety and environmental protection, energy index, outer inspection requirement, material requirement, technologic requirement and so on.
