In this paper, the method of using the manufacturing function of I-DEAS software in machining the complex curve surface of irregular parts in tobacco machinery is described. Thus the integration of design, technological analysis and the manufacturing of the parts can be realized. Therefore, the surface quality of the complicatedl curve surface can be improved.
