摘要
Formation process of archaeological records has become a principal approach in the exploration of human behavior and social change. The article discusses the significance of secondary deposit analysis at the Maliutuo site in the Three Gorge area and points out that with refined methodology,we are able to extract valuable information from secondary deposit which is commonly consider worthless previously.
