公务员的形象,是公务员思想品质、知识水平、能力作风、仪表风度、心理气质等诸多方面的表现和行为在公众心目中的总体印象和评价。重视公务员的礼仪修养,不仅是公务员个人提高自身形象和素质的需要,更是政府乃至国家形象的需要。因此,公务员礼仪是公务员的规范化行为和外在形象。关注礼仪修养,塑造良好形象要做到以礼仪品质和礼仪文化作为修养的内容;把学习礼仪知识、反省自身欠缺与按照礼仪规范要求自己三者有机统一起来;吸收古代和西方礼仪文化中的积极因素;在学习、实践礼仪修养过程中,要"内强素质、外塑形象"。

Civil servant's image is the expression of his thought, knowledge, capacity, manner, quality and total impression and evaluation of his behavior in the public.Paying attention to civil servant's protocol accomplishment is not only the need of improving his own image and quality,but also the need of improving our government and country's image. In order to create good image, we must regard protocol quality and protocol culture as the main content of accomplishment. We should learn protocol knowledge, self-questioning our shortage and do as protocol standard strictly. We should also absorb positive factors of ancient and western protocol culture. In a word, learning and practicing etiquette should strengthen inner quality and create outer image.
