On the Policy on Eunuch of Ming Dynasty Shizong

明世宗向以御侍甚严著称。其实他对宦官的政策不是一成不变的,大体经历了从游移不定、利用到裁抑、打击的变化 过程,在时间上几乎与嘉靖大礼之争同步。

Ming Dynasty Shizong always made his name for stern treatment for eunuch. In fact,his policy on eunch was not invariable, but underwent a change from hesitation to crushing ,which nearly synchronised with the Great Ritual Controversy in Jiangjing reign period.
