This paper reports the design of the automatic pulp vitality tester YDH?1 and its effi-ciency. It is a new automatic apparatus. when the dentist simply places the probe tip on the patient's tooth and touches the patient's face-with his hand holding the probe hande. the tester could automatically be operated. The automatic system of the tester can provide output voltage boosting of intensity of stimuli, when the patient had any reaction and the probe tip was taken from the patient's tooth . the tester can be hold the stimuli date in 8 seconds for recording. It automatically goes back to zero before that another test stant and shuts off when the test has been done.
