摘要
本文介绍了以语言学家海姆斯 (Dell Hymes l972 )、卡纳尔和斯温 (Canale and Swain l980 )以及巴克曼 (Bachman l990 ,1996)为代表的交际能力学说的主要内容及其发展历程 ,论述了交际策略的定义、内涵和分类 ,探讨了交际能力和交际策略的关系 ,并对如何在英语教学过程培养学生的交际能力和交际策略提出了自己的见解。文章在最后还指出了交际策略研究对大纲设计、语言测试、教材编写。
This paper briefly introduces the theory of communicative competence proposed and developed by such linguists as Dell Hymes, Canale, Swain and Bachman.In the light of the theory of communicative competence, the paper discusses the definition and classification of communicative strategies. The paper also discusses the relationship between communicative competence and communicative strategies. Finally, the author gives his suggestions on how to develop students' communicative competence and communicative strategies. As a conclusion the paper studies the implication of the study of communicative strategies on syllabus design, language testing, material development and teaching methodology.
