摘要
色素上皮衍生因子 (pigmentepithelium derivedfac tor ,PEDF)主要来源于眼部的色素上皮细胞 ,具有抗血管新生和神经营养的双重功效。最早是由胎儿视网膜色素上皮细胞的培养液中分离出来的。目前研究认为PEDF是最有效的内源性眼部新生血管抑制剂 ,对新生血管的形成起着重要的调控作用。我们就PEDF的生物学特性、表达部位、调节机制、抗血管新生的作用机理以及PEDF与眼部新生血管性疾病的研究进展作一综述。
Pigment epithelium-derived factor (PEDF) is mainly derived from pig ment epithelial cells in eyes, which possesses dual functions (anti-angiogenic and neurotrophic activities).It was first isolated from medium conditioned by hu man fetal retinal pigment epithelial cells.PEDF has recently been shown to be t he most potent endogenous inhibitor of angiogenesis in the eyes.It plays an imp ortant role in controlling of vascularization. This review is focused on the bio logical characteristics,expression sites,mechanism of modulation and antiangio genic activity,and the advances of PEDF and angiogenesis diseases in the eyes.
